I decided to go to the gym with my dad. It was instant ecstasy. I understood that if I went to the gym almost every day, I’d no longer be the small kid. I’d have the power to defend myself and not get intimidated about getting knocked down.
I took control of my situation
The months and years started to go by. Yes, I was having some gains, but I knew that I wanted more. I was going up in weight for my exercises, but my physique wasn’t changing. After about three years of this, it finally dawned on me that I wasn’t paying attention to what I was eating.
I wasn’t one of those people who watched what they ate. I didn’t think that it would have an effect on me. It never came to me that in order to get the body I wanted, I had to pay attention to what I ate. Once I came to this realization, I still put it off until tomorrow.
